Belavia to stop taking aboard citizens of Iraq, Syria, Yemen departing from Turkey

MINSK. Nov 12 (Interfax) - Starting on November 12, the Belarusian airline Belavia will stop taking aboard citizens of Iraq, Syria, and Yemen departing from Turkey, the airline said on its website on Friday.

"Attention citizens of Iraq, Syria, and Yemen departing from Turkey. Consistent with the decision of the Turkish authorities, starting on November 12, 2021, citizens of Iraq, Syria, and Yemen will not be allowed to board flights departing from Turkey to Belarus," Belavia said.

Belavia passengers subject to these restrictions can receive a 100% refund at the place of the ticket's purchase, the airline said.
