Gas price crisis is European-level problem - German ambassador to Russia

YEKATERINBURG. Oct 25 (Interfax) - Germany is not the only one affected by the gas crisis, including gas prices, German Ambassador to Russia Geza Andreas von Geyr told reporters in Yekaterinburg on Monday.

"I would describe the gas crisis as a crisis of gas prices. This is a rather multifaceted issue, and a solution to this problem is being worked on. The gas price crisis affects not just my country, not just Germany, this is a European-level problem, so it is being resolved on a broader scale," von Geyr said.

"As we have heard, the Russian president has expressed readiness to contribute to dealing with the gas price crisis," he said.
