As many as 42.4 mln people fully immunized against coronavirus, 2.1 mln revaccinated in Russia - Deputy PM Golikova
MOSCOW. Oct 8 (Interfax) - A total of 47.8 million people in Russia have received at least one dose of a two-shot Covid-19 vaccine, while 42.4 million have completed their coronavirus vaccination course, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said.
"As of October 8, the number of people given the first component of a vaccine reached 47.8 million, 42.4 million people are now fully immunized, and 2.1 million revaccinated," Golikova told reporters on Friday.
Vaccination "is the key measure reducing the Covid-19 death rate," she said.
