Tatneft resuming work on several projects in Libya

MOSCOW. Oct 6 (Interfax) - Tatneft is resuming work on several projects in Libya, Vasily Mozgovoy, assistant to the oil company's general director for corporate finance, said during an Aton conference.

"Work in Libya has been resuming, though not yet at all blocks. We have signed four production sharing agreements there, while the force majeure continues; however, we are starting operations again at certain fields," Mozgovoy said.

"We have declared our interest in possibly working in Kazakhstan. We have specifically signed a memorandum of understanding with our colleagues from KazMunayGas regarding projects in Uzbekistan, as well as developing cooperation in Turkmenistan, where we have been operating as per a service contract for a number of years," Mozgovoy recalled.
