Russia sends 30,000 doses of Sputnik Light vaccine to Laos as humanitarian aid

MOSCOW. Sept 22 (Interfax) - A Russian Emergency Situations Ministry plane has delivered 30,000 doses of the Russian Covid-19 vaccine Sputnik Light to Laos as humanitarian aid, the ministry's press service told reporters.

"A plane of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry delivered around 30,000 doses of the Sputnik Light vaccine to Laos on September 22 as humanitarian aid for the local population," the press service said.

The vaccine was delivered in accordance with a Russian government instruction issued in response to a request received from the Lao People's Democratic Republic, it said.
