Russian General Staff chief, U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman discuss ways to reduce military activity risks - Russian Defense Ministry

MOSCOW. Sept 22 (Interfax) - Russian General Staff Chief Valery Gerasimov and Chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley held talks in Finland on Wednesday, the Russian Defense Ministry said.

"In the course of the meeting, the military commanders discussed issues of mutual interest, including the reduction of risks of incidents associated with military activity," the ministry said.

"The meeting was constructive," it said.
