No fatalities due to vaccination with Sputnik V recorded - Gamaleya Center head Gintsburg

MOSCOW. Sept 10 (Interfax) - No fatalities caused by vaccination for Covid-19 using the Sputnik V vaccine have been recorded as of yet, Gamaleya Center head Alexander Gintsburg said.

"There have been no fatalities following vaccination with Sputnik V to date," Gintsburg told reporters on the sidelines of the Forum of Social Innovations in the Regions.

The Russian Health Ministry has confirmed this fact with its statistics, as has the Health Ministry of Argentina, a country where about 12 million people have now been vaccinated specifically with Sputnik V, he said.
