Russia's trade turnover in 2021 to reach 2019 level - customs service head

MOSCOW. Aug 11 (Interfax) - Russia's trade turnover in 2021 is expected to reach the level of 2019, Vladimir Bulavin, head of the Federal Customs Service (FCS), said during a meeting with Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

"We believe that we shall reach the level of 2019 in terms of trade turnover this year," Bulavin said during the meeting.

"Our trade turnover totaled $340 billion in the first six months of the year, which was 27% more than [the period for] last year," Bulavin recalled.
