Russia, Turkey holding talks on signing long-term gas transit agreement - Novak

MOSCOW. July 30 (Interfax) - Russia and Turkey are holding talks on signing a long-term gas transit agreement, Deputy Russian Prime Minister Alexander Novak told reporters.

"The working group [as part of the Russian-Turkish intergovernmental negotiating committee] has discussed the issues there are between Gazprom , Gazprom Export, and Botas regarding signing an agreement on gas transit. There are certain fine points there, commercial issues, but I think it's best to ask the companies," Novak said.

"This concerns signing a long-term contract for gas transit," he said.
