Results of MAKS 2021 air show surpass all expectations - Rostec head

MOSCOW. July 23 (Interfax) - Organizations of the Russian State Corporation Rostec signed contracts worth more than 230 billion rubles during the MAKS 2021 international air show, Rostec head Sergei Chemezov said.

"The results of the air show have surpassed all expectations: our companies signed contracts worth over 230 billion rubles with partners," the Rostec press service quoted Chemezov as saying on Friday.

Rosoboronexport signed contracts worth more than one billion euros during the MAKS 2021 air show, the company's General Director Alexander Mikheyev said on Thursday.

"Rosoboronexport has made the most out of the potential of MAKS 2021, signing on its sidelines 13 export contracts on the delivery of Russian military-purpose products worth more than one billion euros," Mikheyev said.

Under these contracts, foreign buyers will purchase Sukhoi Su-30SME, Mil Mi-35M and Mi-17V-5 helicopters, Protivnik-GE radar stations, and Verba anti-aircraft systems from Russia, he said. Contracts have also been signed on the delivery of advanced air-launched weapons and a number of samples of armored hardware and military vehicles.

Mikheyev, however, declined to name the buyers.
