Acting Armenian defense minister tenders resignation - media
YEREVAN. July 20 (Interfax) - Acting Armenian Defense Minister Vagharshak Harutyunyan has handed in his resignation, local media said.
"Vagharshak Harutyunyan has tendered his resignation from the post of minister. He has already held a goodbye meeting at the ministry," the 168 Hours online newspaper said, citing its sources.
The Armenian Defense Ministry is yet to respond to Interfax's request for comment.
Harutyunyan was appointed Armenia's defense minister on November 20, 2020, after the war in Nagorno-Karabakh.
