Russia extending suspension of air travel with Tanzania through Aug 17 - HQ

MOSCOW. July 20 (Interfax) - Russia is extending its suspension of air travel with Tanzania through August 17, the coronavirus response headquarters said on Monday.

"The operative headquarters on preventing the import and spread of the novel coronavirus infection in Russia has decided to extend the suspension of air travel with Tanzania until 11:59 p.m. on August 17," the headquarters said.

This decision has been made in light of the need to "protect the health of the population," it said.

Russia suspended flights to and from Tanzania on April 15, 2021 due to the adverse Covid-19 situation in this country.
