Estonian consul in St. Petersburg detained while trying to get classified info from Russian - FSB
MOSCOW. July 6 (Interfax) - The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) has said that Estonian Consul in St. Petersburg Mart Latte has been detained while trying to receive classified information from a Russian citizen.
"The Russian Federal Security Service detained an Estonian diplomat, namely Consul of the Estonian General Consulate in St. Petersburg Mart Latte, when the latter was receiving classified information from a Russian citizen in St. Petersburg," the FSB Public Relations Center told Interfax.
"This activity is inconsistent with the status of a diplomat and clearly hostile in relation to the Russian Federation. Measures will be taken against the foreign diplomat in accordance with the regulations of international law," the security service said.
