Putin: Biden and I have agreed on returning Russian, U.S. ambassadors to their workplaces

GENEVA. June 16 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has said United States President Joe Biden and he have agreed on the mutual return of the Russian and U.S. ambassadors to the capitals of the two countries.

"As concerns the return of the ambassadors to their workplaces, particularly the American ambassador to Moscow and the Russian to Washington, we've agreed that this issue has been settled. They're returning to their permanent service locations," Putin said at a press conference following negotiations with Biden on Wednesday.

"As to when exactly this is going to happen, tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, this is a purely technical matter," Putin said.
