Shell, Gazprom Neft again discussing partnership on Meretoyakha, cooperation on other blocks
TORZHOK. May 26 (Interfax) - Shell is again discussing a partnership on the Meretoyakha project and cooperation on other blocks with Russian oil company Gazprom Neft , Shell Russia chairman Cederic Cremers said.
Asked about the prospects of resuming discussions on Shell joining this project, he said this was possible.
Shell is holding discussions with Gazprom Neft on many projects, and will hold talks with the company at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum next week, Cremers said.
Shell is considering various different options for further expanding cooperation with Gazprom Neft, he said. The company needs to consider new opportunities in the new reality, but it is still studying how it can expand its cooperation with Gazprom Neft, Cremers added.
