Russia discussing over 100 joint arms design projects with foreign partners - Rosoboronexport

ABU DHABI. Feb 20 (Interfax) - Russia is discussing over 100 joint arms design projects with foreign partners, Rosoboronexport head Alexander Mikheyev told Interfax.

"This area of military-technical cooperation is necessary in the present-day realities due to both the striving of our partners to develop the national defense industry, and the global economic situation," Mikheyev said in connection with the IDEX 2021 arms show, which opens in the United Arab Emirates on February 21.

"At the moment, Rosoboronexport is discussing over 100 projects in the field of joint development of weapons and military hardware with foreign partners. There are dozens of such projects in countries of the Middle East and North Africa," Mikheyev said.
