Rosneft discovers field in Yakutia with reserves of more than 75 bcm gas
MOSCOW. Jan 12 (Interfax) - Taas-Yuryakh Neftegazodobycha, a subsidiary of Rosneft , has discovered a new major gas-condensate field as the result of drilling an exploration well at the Nizhnedzherbinsky license section in the Sakha Republic or Yakutia, Rosneft said in a statement.
As a result, more than 75 billion cubic meters of gas and 1.4 million tonnes of condensate have been put on the balance sheet of the State Reserves Commission.
The new field has been named after Ivan Kulbertinov, a hero of the Great Patriotic War from 1941 to 1945 who was born in the Olyokminsky district of Yakutia.
