Agreements on Karabakh are generally being observed - Putin

MOSCOW. Jan 11 (Interfax) - There have been no considerable incidents in the Karabakh conflict zone, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"We have come to the conclusion that the conditions of this agreement [on Karabakh] are being generally observed. No serious incidents are being registered," Putin said after the trilateral talks with the president of Azerbaijan and the prime minister of Armenia.

The Russian peacekeeping group is fully performing its obligations to Armenia and Azerbaijan, he said. More than 48,000 displaced persons and refugees have already returned to Nagorno-Karabakh, he said.

"Persistent work is being done to restore the infrastructure, energy sector, residential buildings," Putin said.
