Ukraine quits CIS antimonopoly policy treaty

KYIV. Nov 23 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has signed into law a bill passed by the Verkhovna Rada on November 5, 2020, withdrawing Ukraine from the Treaty on the Implementation of Coordinated Antimonopoly Policy of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the presidential press service said.

"In accordance with this document, Ukraine shall withdraw from the Treaty on the Implementation of Coordinated Antimonopoly Policy that was signed at a meeting of the Council of the Heads of Government of the member states of the Commonwealth of Independent States in Moscow on January 25, 2000, and was ratified by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine subject to reservations by Law No.449-IV, dated January 16, 2003," the press service said.
