Nexta Telegram channel founders listed as terrorists in Belarus

MINSK. Nov 19 (Interfax) - The Belarusian State Security Committee has included Nexta Telegram channel founders Stepan Putilo and Roman Protasevich on the list of individuals and entities engaged in terrorist activity.

The list was published on the committee's website and last updated on November 18. It now includes the Nexta Telegram channel founders. The channel and its logo have been declared extremist materials in Belarus.

Charges have been brought against Putilo and Protasevich within the framework of a case involving mass unrest, and both men have been placed on the international wanted list.

Polish Charge d'Affaires ad interim in Belarus Marcin Wojciechowski has had a meeting at the Belarusian Foreign Ministry, during which the Belarusian side called on Poland to extradite Putilo and Protasevich as soon as possible.
