Gazprom begins spot sales of gas to Turkey

MOSCOW. Nov 16 (Interfax) - Gazprom Export LLC successfully concluded a deal via the Electronic Sales Platform (ESP) on November 11, 2020 for the sale of natural gas with delivery to the Malkoclar point in December 2020, the company said in a statement.

Malkoclar is located on the border of Bulgaria and Turkey.

The volume of gas sold was about 700,000 cubic meters. This is the first transaction for supply of Russian gas to the Turkish market carried out via the ESP.
