Clinical trials of Russia's coronavirus vaccine begin in Belarus one week ahead of schedule - Minister Murashko

MOSCOW. Sept 29 (Interfax) - The first batch of Russia's coronavirus vaccine has been delivered to Belarus, Russian Health Minister Mikhail Murashko said.

"As for collaboration with colleagues from Belarus, the first doses of the vaccine have now been supplied," Murashko said at President Vladimir Putin's virtual meeting with government members on Tuesday.

He said Belarus had given consent to clinical trials.

"The clinical trials have begun one week ahead of schedule directly at Belarusian medical institutions," Murashko said.
