Russia to resume flights with Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, S. Korea - operative HQ
MOSCOW. Sept 18 (Interfax) - The operative headquarters tasked with containing the spread of the novel coronavirus has decided to resume flights with Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Belarus from next week, and with South Korea from September 27.
"It was decided at the meeting to resume international flights with Kazakhstan (Nur-Sultan), Kyrgyzstan (Bishkek) and Belarus (Minsk) on a mutual basis starting from September 21, and with South Korea (Seoul) from September 27," the operative headquarters said in a statement obtained by Interfax on Friday.
"Flights to these countries will be made on a mutual basis, with a periodicity of once a week," it said.
International air travel was suspended in the spring of this year due to the threat of coronavirus spread.
