Moscow discussing resumption of flights with capitals of CIS states in Oct - source

MOSCOW. Sept 15 (Interfax) - Moscow may resume flights with the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) within a month, an informed source told Interfax on Tuesday.

"Mechanisms for restarting flights with the capitals of the CIS countries in October are being discussed as a priority. They are Nur-Sultan, Tashkent, Baku, Yerevan, etc.," the source said.

Minsk may become the first such destination to which flights will be resumed, he said.

"So far, this issue is being discussed with the participation of the aviation authorities and air carriers of the two countries. A date for resuming such fights has yet to be set," the source said.
