Russia, Belarus discussing loan to refinance public debt at level of finance ministries

KRASNODAR. Sept 1 (Interfax) - Russia and Belarus are discussing the details of a loan to refinance Minsk's debt to Russia at the level of finance ministries, Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov told reporters.

"We're holding talks at the level of finance ministries. Our leaders have also held talks regarding this, so now we'll be discussing the details of this credit and volumes at a technical level. We'll be working with our Belarusian partners in general regarding a loan," he said, when asked whether a Belarusian request for debt restructuring had been received.
