Russian cosmonaut on ISS films 5 UFOs over Earth

MOSCOW. Aug 19 (Interfax) - Russian cosmonaut Ivan Vagner has filmed from the International Space Station (ISS) a group of five unidentified flying objects over Earth.

"At 9-12 seconds, 5 objects appear flying alongside with the same distance. What do you think those are? Meteors, satellites or...?" Vagner said on Twitter.

"The information was brought to the notice of Roscosmos management, the materials were sent to TsNIIMash [Central Research Institute of Machine Building] and the Space Research Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences for further analysis," he said.

Vagner also published a video which he filmed in slow motion of northern lights over the Antarctic.

"The frames were captured 1 per sec and later assembled in a video with 25 frames per sec rate. Meaning, the real observation time is 52 sec," he said.
