Russia resumes supply of petroleum products to N. Korea, exports 2,000-3,000 tonnes per month -ambassador
MOSCOW. May 20 (Interfax) - Russia is monthly exporting 2,000 to 3,000 tonnes of petroleum products to North Korea, Russian Ambassador in Pyongyang Alexander Matsegora said in an interview with Interfax.
After a short pause caused by the coronavirus pandemic, exports of petroleum products resumed to North Korea "in the monthly amount of 2,000 to 3,000 tonnes," Matsegora said.
"This is roughly last year's level. While doing that, we are strictly complying with the requirements of relevant UN Security Council resolutions, including regular notification of the Sanctions Committee on the amount of our shipments," he said.
