Russia's Covid-19 death toll reaches 273, 41 new deaths reported in past 24 hours
MOSCOW. April 17 (Interfax) - The number of deaths due to Covid-19 has increased by 41 in Russia over the past 24 hours, bringing the country's coronavirus death toll to 273, the coronavirus information center said.
"Regrettably, 273 people have died," center representative Alexander Myasnikov told the Rossiya 24 (VGTRK) TV channel.
Thus, Russia's Covid-19 death toll has grown by 41 in the past 24 hours, reaching 273.
Russia identified 4,069 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the total Covid-19 rate to 32,007, Myasnikov said.
"In the past 24 hours, 4,069 new coronavirus cases were identified in Russia," he said.
"In all, 32,007 patients have tested positive for the virus in the territory of our country," he said.
A total of 286 patients have recovered from Covid-19 in Russia in the past 24 hours, bringing the overall number of people discharged from hospitals upon recovery to 2,590, Myasnikov said.
"A total of 286 people have been discharged upon recovery. The overall number of such patients discharged from hospitals has increased to 2,590," he told the Rossiya 24 (VGTRK) TV channel.
