Over 1.5 million Covid-19 tests conducted in Russia at present - Rospotrebnadzor
MOSCOW. April 15 (Interfax) - Russian laboratories have performed more than 1.51 million tests for coronavirus, the Russian Federal Service for Health and Consumer Rights (Rospotrebnadzor) said in its daily Covid-19 bulletin on Wednesday.
"As of April 14, 2020, a total of 1,517,992 laboratory tests have been conducted to check for the presence of the novel coronavirus in material taken from people, including those who returned from countries with an unfavorable epidemiological situation," Rospotrebnadzor said.
According to the latest updates, 130,137 people remain under medical observation in Russia.
"As many as 513,084 people were placed under medical observation in Russia in the reporting period of 2020; as of April 14, 2020, a total of 130,137 people remain under medical observation," Rospotrebnadzor said.
