Coronavirus rate up by 1,786 cases to 11,917 in Russia in past 24 hours - HQ
MOSCOW. April 10 (Interfax) - The Covid-19 sickness rate went up by 1,786 cases in Russia in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number to 11,917, the federal operative headquarters said in a statement on Friday.
"As many as 1,786 Covid-19 cases were confirmed in 57 regions of Russia over the past day," the headquarters said.
Moscow saw 1,124 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours and a total of 7,822 cases by now.
So far, Russia has recorded 11,917 coronavirus cases (+ 17.6%) in 82 regions, the headquarters said.
Ninety-seven coronavirus patients were discharged from hospitals upon recovery in the past 24 hours, including 37 in Moscow. A total of 795 coronavirus patients have recovered across Russia by now.
Eighteen coronavirus patients have died over the day, including 12 in Moscow. The death toll has thus grown to 94.
