Aeroflot to airlift U.S. passengers to New York City on Tuesday - embassy

MOSCOW. April 7 (Interfax) - The Russian flag carrier Aeroflot plans to airlift a group of U.S. citizens home on a flight to depart Moscow for New York City on Tuesday afternoon, the United States embassy to Russia said.

"Aeroflot just informed us it's requested permission to operate a flight to NYC at 14:15 today, April 7. Per Aeroflot, anyone booked on their flight cancelled on April 3 automatically rebooked for today's flight," U.S. embassy spokesperson Rebecca Ross said on Twitter.
