Russian govt approves first version of list of sectors hit hardest by coronavirus

MOSCOW. April 6 (Interfax) - The Russian government has approved a list of sectors of the economy that have been hit hardest by the coronavirus pandemic for provision of priority targeted support.

Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a resolution approving the list on April 3 and it has been published on the government's website.

The list includes aviation; automobile transport; culture, leisure and entertainment; fitness and sport; travel agencies and other tourism organizations; the hotel business; food services; supplementary education organizations and nongovernmental educational institutions; organization of conferences and exhibitions; household and personal services (repairs, laundry, dry cleaning, hairdressing and beauty salon services).

Economic Development Minister Maxim Reshetnikov said on Saturday that the list of such sectors was being finalized and that it might include non-food retail.
