Putin: non-working days in Russia extended to April 30
MOSCOW. April 2 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin said he has decided to extend the non-working period until the end of April, adding that people will continue to get their wages.
"I have made a decision to extend the non-working period until the end of the month, that is, until April 30 inclusive. I reiterate that employees will continue to get their wages," Putin said in his televised address.
The coronavirus threat persists, he said. "Virologists believe that the peak of the epidemic has not been passed yet, including in our country," he said.
