Russian govt allocates 5.2 bln rubles to buy ambulances for regions - press service

MOSCOW. April 2 (Interfax) - The Russian government has allocated 5.2 billion rubles from the reserve fund to buy ambulances for the regions as part of countering the coronavirus, the government's press service said on Thursday.

"With the goal of combatting the consequences of the new coronavirus outbreak in Russia, 5.208 billion rubles is allocated to the Russian Industry and Trade Ministry from the Russian government's reserve fund in 2020 in order to purchase Class C ambulances for the needs of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, bearing in mind that a minimum of 1,200 Class C ambulances will be provided," the government said in a document posted on its website.
