Gazprom confirms first Covid-19 case
MOSCOW. March 27 (Interfax) - An employee of Gazprom's administration has tested positive for the coronavirus, a source familiar with the situation told Interfax.
PJSC Gazprom's press service confirmed this information: "A few days ago, an employee of PJSC Gazprom felt unwell while on vacation in Russia. A sample taken to test for the coronavirus yielded a positive result. The employee has been hospitalized, feels satisfactory, and is in stable condition. All necessary measures are being taken, including those related to establishing with whom this individual has been in contact recently."
According to information available to Interfax, the employee in question works in Department 645, Gazprom's repair department.
