Rosatom to continue implementing projects abroad during pandemic; keeping personnel safe

MOSCOW. March 26 (Interfax) - Rosatom will continue to implement foreign projects, "despite the difficulties with the epidemiological situation in a number of countries where Rosatom is building nuclear power plants," General Director Alexei Likhachev said in a statement posted on the company's website.

"Of course, the most stringent measures are in place to ensure the safety of Russian personnel in such countries," Likhachev said.

"Rosatom is taking all necessary measures to minimize the negative impact of the epidemiological crisis on supply chains and to ensure that obligations to customers are met in full and on time as stipulated by the relevant contracts," the company said.
