Vector starts animal tests of coronavirus vaccine
MOSCOW. March 20 (Interfax) - The Vector State Research Center of Virology and Biotechnology has started testing a coronavirus vaccine on animals, Vector's Deputy Director for Research Yelena Gavrilova said.
"At present, we have developed on the basis of six technologically advanced platforms both vaccines based on known recombinant viruses, such as influenza (...), and synthetic vaccines," Gavrilova said.
"Experiments on laboratory animal models have already started," she said.
