Number of patients with Covid-19 discharged from hospitals reaches 9 - official statistics
MOSCOW. March 20 (Interfax) - Nine people with Covid-19 coronavirus infection have recovered in Russia, according to the statistics published on the official website stopcoronavirus.rf on Friday.
There are a total of 199 official coronavirus cases in Russia, of which 52 were registered in the past 24 hours, according to the statistics earlier published by the operative headquarters.
According to the information published on the site, the number of people who have recovered has increased from five to nine.
The five people whose recovery was reported earlier are two citizens of China, who were discharged in mid-February, two citizens of Russia and one citizen of Italy (an Italian exchange student, who is studying at a medical university in St. Petersburg).
According to tentative information, the other four patients who recovered are patients in Moscow, a source in the Russian government said.
The site stopcoronavirus.rf was launched on the orders of the country's administration to promptly inform Russians on the coronavirus situation in Russia.
