OPEC+ meeting postponed for duration of anti-Covid-19 measures - Kazakh Energy Ministry
NUR-SULTAN. March 18 (Interfax) - The activity of the working members of OPEC+ has been restricted for the duration of measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection, Kazakhstan's Energy Ministry told Interfax in a statement.
"The activity of the working members of OPEC+, including the holding of technical meetings, has been restricted and postponed by the OPEC secretariat for the duration of measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus," the statement said.
Several informed sources told Interfax earlier that the OPEC+ joint technical committee (JTC) meeting due to take place March 18 would probably be canceled; however, up until then there had not been a final decision.
