Number of coronavirus patients in Russia grows to 114 - Golikova
MOSCOW. March 17 (Interfax) - The number of people diagnosed with the new coronavirus in Russia has reached 114 in 26 regions, Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova said.
"As many as 114 patients [infected with the new coronavirus] in 26 regions have now been recorded in Russia. Five of them have recovered and have been discharged from hospital," Golikova said at a government meeting hosted by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"As many as 109 of these patients are inpatients in hospitals, and 106 of them have a mild form of the disease, without any symptoms," she said.
Of the 114 coronavirus cases recorded in Russia, 104 were imported from abroad and ten transmitted within the community, Golikova said.
Thus, the number of coronavirus cases recorded in Russia has grown from 93 since Monday.
