Russia ready to restrict export of essential goods but this is not currently an issue - Belousov

MOSCOW. March 17 (Interfax) - Russia is prepared to introduce restrictions on exports of essential goods if necessary, but so far this is not an issue, First Deputy Prime Minister Andrei Belousov said.

"We are ready to introduce restrictions on essential food products if the stocks aren't going to be enough, and that requirement will arise for meeting the needs of the domestic market. But today, with the exception of a limited number of positions, we practically aren't seeing such a necessity," Belousov said at a meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with members of the government.
