Chernomyrdin dismissed as Russian ambassador to Ukraine
MOSCOW. June 11 (Interfax) - Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has decreed to dismiss Viktor Chernomyrdin from the position of Russian ambassador to Ukraine and appoint him instead as Russian presidential advisor and presidential envoy for economic cooperation with CIS member states, the Kremlin reported on Thursday.
