ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih to reinvest 2008 profit
KYIV. June 15 (Interfax) - ArcelorMittal Kryviy Rih (formerly Kryvorizhstal), Ukraine's biggest steel mill, will not pay dividends for 2008 and will reinvest last year's net profit, shareholders decided at the AGM on June 11.
"The shareholders approved the financial reporting and voted against dividends. Everything will be reinvested," Oleksandr Zozulya, the company's social affairs manager, told Interfax.
Net profit grew 23.1% to UAH 4.676 billion in 2008.
ArcelorMittal Duisburg GmbH owns just over 95% of the plant. The state owns 0.1%.
