Dollar rises slightly in first minutes on Mon
MOSCOW. June 22 (Interfax) - The dollar gained in the first minutes of trading on the MICEX currency exchange on Monday and the ruble weakened slightly against the Central Bank's currency basket amid declines in oil prices.
Trading in dollar "tom" contracts opened at 31.21 rubles/$1, which is 7 kopecks above the close on Friday and 6 kopecks above the official rate.
The euro opened near 43.35 rubles/1 euro, virtually unchanged from Friday.
The bicurrency basket ($0.55 and 0.45 euro) rose slightly to 36.67 rubles as of 10:05 a.m., 3 kopecks above the previous close.
