Inter RAO must diversify markets

MOSCOW. June 25 (Interfax) - Russian electricity trader Inter RAO UES consolidated its foothold in the markets last year, despite the global crisis, and its exports grew 9%, but the company needs to diversify its markets at a time when electricity consumption is declining abroad, including in countries where Inter RAO is present, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Igor Sechin, the company's board chairman, said at the company's AGM.
