Alrosa appoints RZD

MOSCOW. July 13 (Interfax) - The supervisory board of Yakutia-based diamond monopoly Alrosa has appointed Fyodor Andreev president.

Andreev is currently senior vice president of Russian Railways (RZD) .

The current president of Alrosa, Sergei Vybornov, has been released from his duties effective July 13, Alrosa said in a statement. Andreev will take up the post effective July 15.
