Corrected - Russia, Germany prepare financial, economic agreements for signing; including loan of 500 mln euro

MOSCOW. July 15 (Interfax) - Moscow and Berlin will sign a host of agreements during their bilateral consultations in Munich on July 16, Russian presidential aide Sergei Prikhodko said.

"An agreement between Vnesheconombank (VEB) and KfW IPEX-Bank Gmbh state bank for a loan of 500 million euro is being prepared for signing," he said at a briefing in Moscow.

The agreement covers financing for joint Russian-German projects, particularly those in engineering. The credit line will be for purchases of equipment in Germany and other European countries for delivery to Russia, Prikhodko said.

Vnesheconombank (VEB), the city of St. Petersburg and Frankfurt's airport will sign an agreement on reconstruction of Pulkovo airport in St. Petersburg. Another agreement being prepared covers a joint venture to produce next generation locomotives between Russian Railways (RZD) and Siemens.
