PwC forecasts car production in Russia to rise to 1 mln in 2010

MOSCOW. July 21 (Interfax) - PricewaterhouseCoopers forecasts that car production in Russia will rise to 1 million in 2010, up from 700,000 in 2009, PwC's director for the automotive sector, Andrei Komarov, told journalists.

Domestic car production may recover to the pre-crisis level of 1.5 million by 2011, Komarov said. PwC forecasts production to further rise to 1.8 million in 2012 and 2 million in 2013.
