Severstal International CEO leaving company
MOSCOW. July 23 (Interfax) - Gregory Mason, the CEO of Severstal International and general director of Severstal North America, has decided to tender his resignation, Severstal said in a statement.
Mason had worked at Severstal since 2004.
Sergei Kuznetsov, deputy general director for finances and economics at Severstal, will take over Mason's positions.
Alexei Kulichenko, the former director of finances at Severstal Resource, will take over for Kuznetsov.
The changes take effect on July 29, 2009.
Severstal has assets in Russia, North America, Europe and Ukraine. The company's main beneficiary is CEO Alexei Mordashov, who owns over 82% of shares. The rest are in free float.
