CNPC completes construction of Algerian refinery
Shanghai. July 28. INTERFAX-CHINA - China National Petroleum Corp. (CNPC) completed construction of a refinery in Algeria on July 25, CNPC announced on July 28.
CNPC's engineering subsidiary, China Petroleum Engineering and Construction Corp., built the $385 million refinery, which has an annual oil condensate processing capacity of 5 million tons, CNPC said in a newsletter.
CNPC said that the Algerian refinery was the largest overseas refinery construction project that a Chinese company has ever undertaken.
